The Corporate Security Specialist will support and execute the corporate security strategy at the direction of the Director of Corporate Security. The Corporate Security Specialist responsibilities include the protection of facilities and personnel, managing security projects nationwide, and implementing established SGWS standards and processes against criminal activities. As part of the security team, the Corporate Security Specialist will be required to perform internal and external investigations and execute security installation projects. Additionally, the Corporate Security Specialist will be required to assist regional security director in all areas of security to provide advice, direction, support, and direct assistance at the reginal location.
Position Responsibility
Perform Corporate Security Assessment and Inspections
Conduct internal and external investigations
Manage security vendors
Provide written and oral presentations with respect to corporate security goals
Lead security project teams
Administrate the receipt and dissemination of intelligence to protect employees and facilities
Promote a culture the engenders positive workplace environment and work with staff and divisions to create and maintain an environment reflective of those viewpoints
Cultivate partnership with regional personnel and corporate divisions to include HR and ETP/IT divisions
Stay informed and aware of trends in security technology
Prepare, recommend, and implement building security upgrades, moves, constructions projects, and maintenance initiatives
Liaison with IT to facilitate security upgrades and installations
Perform other related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications
Associate Degree of higher
Experience installing and integrating small and enterprise security systems
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites
Strong organization, multi-tasking, and time management skills
Experienced managing security integrators and management of security installation and upgrades
Thorough understanding of enterprise security concepts, practices, and procedures
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor of Science of higher
Multiple years installing and integrating small and enterprise security systems
Strong communication skills – written, verbal, persuasion, motivation, facilitation of strong working relationships
Knowledge of other MS office suite and/or software applications related to job function
Excellent interpersonal, customer service, analytical/problem solving, problem management, presentation development, presentation, and communication skills
Physical Demands
Corporate demands with activity or conditions for a considerable amount of time including sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer keyboard, mouse, and monitor
Corporate demands with activity or condition may include occasional amount of time walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping
May require occasional lifting/lower, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 50lbs
