Overview

Provide reporting, analytic review and support to members of the Chain Sales Teams to assist in evaluating the effectiveness of route-to-market strategies, business intelligence tools and applications.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide analytical and technical support to Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits senior management
• Assist in the analysis of large amounts of sales, marketing, and consumer data with strategic supplier partners and key retail chain customers, developing solid insights into current trends, issues confronting SGWS and the Wine/Spirits categories, and opportunities
• Compose SQL and MDX scripts to extract data from various databases and systems to make data available for enterprise reporting
• Customize business reviews for supplier meetings and chain headquarters
• Create custom reports and presentations for the following areas: specific time period measures, geographic regions, chain specific, category, shelf, product analyses, and profitability
• Support Chain sales managers in identifying and revising enterprise reporting requirements
• Evaluate, tests, and implements new or upgraded proprietary reporting systems
• Conduct end user training on reporting systems

Additional Primary Responsibilities

• Assist in volume and profit-points goal entry process and tracks state performance versus all supplier annual operating plans (AOP)
• Establish goal programs within National Sales Manager and GoalBuilder systems and reports. Key organizational reference point for goal and performance program tracking
• Maintain and improve daily sales reporting and overall information distribution
• Perform other job related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Comfortable in a heavily data driven environment
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, SQL and Python. Tableau experience highly desired.

• Physical demands with activity or condition for a considerable amount of time include sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor) or adding machine
• Physical demands with activity or condition may include occasional to rare amount of time include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping
• May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 20lbs
