We’re looking for an enthusiastic, experienced Solution Architect to play an integral client-facing role representing Capita and demonstrating our capabilities to prospective clients by demonstrating how we bring our extensive experience and expertise to bear on client projects, in service of their objectives.

You will work alongside the bid and sales teams in response to specific client requirements through the bids and tender process. You will act as a liaison between the business/ operational areas and the IT and infrastructure team to clearly define and produce high quality, detailed solution documentation in line with the bid responses and associated timescales using your excellent influencing, communication and presentation skills.

You will have overall ownership of solutions, ensuring that they are scalable, cost effective and can be successfully transitioned into BAU operation. You’ll work with the leadership team along with various support and operation functions to build long-term, trusted advisor status and discover client needs

Combines customer facing commercial IT experience with the ability to bring together a wide range of departments across the business to provide solutions and support business development. Expected to identify market opportunities for new services lines from new technology which is brought to market.

• Proven Pre-Sales and Solution Architecture experience
• Demonstrable experience of solutioning target operating models and operational ramp up plans within a financial services collections and complaints environment
• Strong understanding of technical infrastructure
• Strong understanding of providing commercial IT professional and managed service solutions
• Strong strategy development/consultancy experience
• Strong facilitation and negotiation skills
• Knowledge of business re-engineering principles and processes.
• Exposure to multiple, diverse technical configurations, technologies, and processing environments.
• Understands the business, business drivers, and business strategy
• Ability to understand the long-term (“big picture”) and short-term perspectives
• Ability to translate business needs into technical and service architecture requirements
