Veredus (part of Capita) is a leader in executive search and selection and interim placements, research and insight, providing recruitment expertise that enables businesses to meet the workplace demands of today and tomorrow.

We are looking for a Solution Sales Manager to develop and execute a growth plan across the current and expanding Veredus client portfolio, consulting with clients to identify areas of growth by building a clear and articulate vision of the client’s critical business and talent challenges. Working across all the Veredus functions, build and manage client growth plans in collaboration with subject matter experts.

Job Description:

What you’ll be doing:

  • Manage and own growth across the Veredus client portfolio to enhance solution mix, margin and
  • Develop, implement, and monitor client growth plans across the portfolio, achieving growth targets and increasing solution penetration across all functions.
  • Identify new opportunities within existing clients, and lead the sales/bid process as directed, to achieve agreed targets
  • Ensure that strong relationships are built to meet/exceed client expectations and achieve budgeted income and margin targets.
  • Ensure we always put the ‘best team’ and ‘best solution’ forward for each sales opportunity.
  • Ensure we correctly diagnose and understand client needs, then design the best solutions to meet that need from our different functions, always adopting a ‘best team’ approach for delivery to the client.
  • Maintain overall accountability for client satisfaction.
  • Monitor client satisfaction levels, benchmark our performance against our key competitors and develop and implement improvement plans.
  • Achieve high levels of client retention.

What we’re looking for:

  • Ability to demonstrate genuine sales growth and cross function development within similar solution-based sales organisations
  • A track record of performance, achieving challenging business and sales targets on a consistent basis
  • Experience of developing and implementing multi-channel sales strategies
  • Strong business development management background gained within a B2B solutions led and consultative business sector
  • Strong grasp of commercial issues and ability to focus on profit coupled with the ability to identify and optimise opportunities for profitable and sustainable growth
