Job Description
As a Meeting Room Global Black Belt, you will play a critical role in helping customers transform their meeting spaces for hybrid work with Teams Meetings. You will bring meeting room and A/V expertise to bear in sales opportunities driven by Microsoft’s Modern Work sales organization. Focusing on Microsoft’s room solutions and meeting technology, you will work with our Enterprise customers to enable a new era of hybrid meetings across their facilities. You will provide strategic guidance, product and technical expertise and work with key decision makers to ensure that customers can transform their meeting spaces in the timelines and budgets they require.
Responsibilities
- Provide guidance on Hybrid work meeting room strategy based on Microsoft’s experience and room solution development
- Act in a consultative capacity to assist customer planning for meeting room evolution (assessing current state and designing future state)
- Provide expertise on Team Meeting Room solutions including hardware, software, and IT integration
- Provide expertise in A/V solutions; in particular, how to bridge existing A/V investments from legacy investments to modern, native Teams solutions
- Build relationships with, and become a trusted advisor to, key decision makers across IT, RE&F, HR and executive suite.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key industry partners and ensure appropriate partner engagement across opportunities
- Support Modern Work sales professionals in qualifying and driving meeting room transformation opportunities as part of a customer’s broader adoption of Teams
- Leverage internal technical and product specialists as required to support your customer engagements
- Support the customer in building business cases to demonstrate the value of Teams meeting solutions and to secure required budget for transformation
- Provide insights to corp strategy and planning teams to continuously improve Microsoft’s ability to meet customer needs on meeting room transformation with Teams
Qualifications
- 10 to 15 years’ experience
- Experience in workplace technology. In particular, demonstrated experience in helping customers transform their workplace, especially in the area of meeting rooms
- Deep understanding of and experience with A/V meeting technology, including Cisco solutions, Teams and Teams Rooms
- Experience working with A/V integrators a plus; Experience installing A/V solutions a plus
- Basic understanding of core IT infrastructure and networking also a plus
- Track record selling to large enterprise customers and establishing yourself as a trusted advisor across different groups and organizational levels
- Ability to build strategies and solutions that meet customers needs by engaging partners, integrators and other sales professionals
- Ability to build technology-related business cases that span hardware, software, and services
- Demonstrated leadership skills in driving solutions for customers while working across a matrices of internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent communication and influencing skills; customer-obsessed and results driven
