Responsibilities

You will be one of Microsoft’s most senior solution architects, responsible for developing technology strategy, setting standards and implementing practices that ensure the best outcomes for our customers.  The team is focused on technology areas like Azure Open-Source Software Development and Devops. This role requires both broad and deep technology knowledge, business acumen and the ability to provide strategic technical direction and technical leadership.  Major areas of responsibility include:

• Complex Deal Presales & Delivery Support
• Technical Standards & Quality Enablement
• Methodology Enablement & Tools, including standard workload estimation
• IP/Offerings Development & Management
• Readiness Planning, Development & Delivery
• Architect maturity increase in mega projects, transformational in nature
• Alignment with the product groups

Qualifications

• 10+ years technology leadership experience consulting with complex customers in applications development in an agile Devops environment at scale
• Experience engaging with customers at senior levels and comfortable providing technology and business consulting as well as architectural guidance
• Must have a degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent work experience
• Strong track record of performing in a highly matrixed organization

The job will require frequent travel (30%+)
