Requirements:

• Minimum of 7-10 years experience in software quality assurance and testing
• Experience working with tools such as ReadyAPI, Postman, Git, Jira, Splunk
• Demonstrated experience with object-oriented programming concepts
• Extensive experience with API and Web Services
• Extensive experience with web application testing
• Hands on experience working with SQL and Linux
• BS or MS degree in Engineering or Computer Science

Preferences:

• Application Integration and/or Data Integration (ETL) knowledge is a plus
• Experience with scripting automated tests using Selenium WebDriver
• Knowledge of the Agile Software Development Life Cycle
• Ability to work and collaborate in a team-based environment
• A self-starter with the ability to drive tasks and initiatives to completion with limited direction
• Analytical skills to deduce the cause of issues in testing environment as well as production environment
• Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment testing environments
• Implement best practices in testing procedures and provide mentoring
• Should identify areas of improvement within current QA practices and provide constructive feedback
• Ability to acquire subject matter expertise in assigned area of business

Responsibilities:

• Work with a team of developers and testers in a highly agile environment to produce quality software to customers
• Apply development and technical skills to all aspects of QA, including manual and automated functional and integration tests and the setup of production like environments
• Develop test plan specifications and test case and advocate for the user
• Build and maintain functional regression testing suite
• Work independently, without needing a set of already formulated acceptance criteria or test cases to further explore the application and find possible coverage gaps
• Demonstrated experience with scripting automated tests
• Ability to create and manage testing framework
• Understanding of software architecture and ability to assess risk in early stages of development
• Formulate story acceptance criteria by independently gathering information and utilizing available resources to develop automated tests
• Challenge the intent of the user story and defining/refining the acceptance criteria
• Gain deep knowledge of product functionality
• Be a creative thinker and problem solver and collaborate and communicate with team members and community
