The Opportunity

The Premiere Pro Family is looking for an outstanding Senior Quality Engineer to join the team to craft and shape new features. As the leading NLE, Premiere Pro’s quality is held to a high standard. This is a challenging opportunity for a self-motivated Quality Engineer interested in video innovation while maintaining quality.

What you’ll do

• Collaborate on design requirements to champion customer needs throughout the development process
• Ensure a high-quality bar for architectural and workflow implementation(s) that will delight the customers with no sacrifice to stability of the application
• Plan, write and implement test plans for manual and automated test cases for features to ensure and maintain CI
• Work closely and efficiently with other Quality Engineers (QE), Developers, Product Management and Designers
• Engage directly with our (passionate) customers
• Work optimally across teams as Premiere touches parts of the broader Digital Video & Audio & Adobe wide ecosystems

What you need to succeed

• Proven work experience as a professional Quality Engineer as mainly black-box, but proficient in white-box testing
• Ability to articulate what tests were written, their results and how automating the repetitive tasks made the product better for customers
• Knowledge and experience testing performance in desktop applications for both Windows and MacOS
• Knowledge in modern CPU and GPU hardware
• Demonstrate the ability to lead and mentor teammates both verbally and through actions

Nice to have

• Can read C++ code
• Written production quality automated tests using JavaScript and/or Python
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Knowledge and skills in Premiere Pro or another NLE and other Creative Cloud apps
• Passion for video and interest in broadcast industry standard and its trends
