Job Summary:

The responsibility of the WDI Project Technology Integration team is to drive the vision, strategy, implementation and support of our Disney Imagineers technology tools around the globe. We focus on the concepts, workflows and technologies of Building Information Modeling ( BIM ), Virtual Design and Construction ( VDC ), Cloud-Remote Services, Mobile, Emerging and Interoperability Technologies. The Imagineering Technology Studio is looking for a Product Owner with 5-7 years’ experience managing BIM and VDC project strategies. This individual will be key to the stakeholder engagement, templates, standards and production team success for our key products for BIM and VDC delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Mentor WDI Imagineers working with BIM and VDC technologies in best practices for technology success on our projects.
• Responsible for all aspects of a Product Owner for our BIM and VDC ‘hero’ products, including product implementation strategies, product deployment setup, stakeholder research and requirements definitions.
• Level 2 technical subject matter expert for BIM and VDC ‘hero’ products: Revit, BIM 360, Navisworks, Civil 3D, and Rhino. Knowledge of Autodesk Construction Cloud suite emerging technologies is helpful.
• Engage BIM-driven presentations for projects to support BIM Managers on project design authoring strategy, and project requirements.
• Plan, manage and maintain the integrity of 3D content and/or content of the standards libraries and documentation on multiple platforms.
• Establish direct relationships with our AEC and Creative team leaders, to represent stakeholder requirements in our decisions to implement and pursue new BIM and VDC technology.
• Create documented WDI specific workflow efficiency documentation to support the project BIM and VDC management strategy.
• Work closely with our Learning Management System leaders on best strategies for advancing our production team efficiency.
• Lead and educate teams in techniques for model authorship, identify and resolve opportunities around model-management to optimize performance.

Basic Qualifications:

• Senior BIM Manager, with strong background in implementing for project design and delivery.
• Direct experience with design, construction, or architecture firms and/or technologies.
• Experience with BIM standards and template development.
• Strong communication skills: written, verbal, and presentational.
• Strong passion for excellence in project delivery and developing productive BIM teams.
• Senior level expertise in Revit as WDI primary documentation tool.
• Senior level expertise in BIM360 and Navisworks.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity and/or experience with the Autodesk AEC suite.
• Familiarity with BIM technologies.
• Additional background with any of these products: AutoCAD, Civil 3D, AutoCAD Architecture, Rhino, Sketchup, Maya, Solidworks.
• Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud.
• Delivery of learning experiences with a BIM and VDC context.

Required Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Engineering with an AEC background.
• BIM emphasis preferred.
