We are looking for software engineers with strong hands-on experience in building large scale distributed systems and a world-class search experience for our M365 products like Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Office, etc. As a part of M365 Core team, we are building platforms that can enable our customers to customize and configure content and experiences to power intelligence experiences across all the M365 products.

This role is a Software Engineer role with opportunity to build new experiences for M365 products with a constant focus on high performance and slick user experience. The role involves building new platform capabilities that improve the content and the effectiveness of workplace search capabilities for our customers. This role expects you to contribute into core M365 cloud platform that several user interesting Intelligence features run on.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will enjoy working with top notch M365 cloud architects in Redmond and Bangalore. You will work on interesting coding problems that process data at large scale. This role will be an interesting role if you are:

• Passionate about designing and implementing components that can scale and be reliable
• Strong in analytical skills and drive design decisions based on data and insights
• Have an interest in crafting design improvements balancing current customer needs and long-term roadmap

Qualifications

We expect the candidate to have:

• 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Software Development or Software Design.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a solid understanding of the entire software development lifecycle.
• Knowledge of frontend technologies like React, TypeScript, web performance will be a big plus.
• Experience working on large-scale projects across divisions and landing complex but scalable architecture to meet agile business needs.
