The Role

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join a SaaS/cloud-first, innovative, fast-paced technology team within Asset Management on the FAMS Distribution Data Analytics squad.

In this role, you will help develop, support, maintain, build, and deploy cloud-based java applications and deliver advanced data and analytics capabilities that delight our customers and help drive revenue growth. FAMS Distribution Data Analytics squad is responsible for data movement to our CRM platform and eventually to Snowflake ecosystem. The role can be based out of Smithfield-RI, Boston-MA, Merrimack-NH, Raleigh-NC or Westlake-TX

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • Full stack software engineering with 2+ years of experience implementing web and middle-tier services, preferably in the cloud
  • Proven understanding of object oriented and functional programming and design in Java 8
  • Spring 4+ and Spring security
  • Experience with multi-threading using Executors and asynchronous task using Completable Futures
  • Junit for unit testing
  • Experience with BDD using Cucumber/JBehave
  • Experience with build and deploy tools (Maven, Jenkins, UDeploy, Git Stash, Jira)
  • You have strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail
  • Financial services industry experience preferred

Nice To Have

  • SQL programming experience: building queries and stored procedures/functions
  • Web UI Development Experience with Angular 6 or newer
  • Experience with AWS services like EC2, S3, IAM, EKS
  • Knowledge of Salesforce, Snowflake and Python scripting
  • Prior background and experience with API design patterns
