Are you passionate about solving the security challenges of critical online services?  Microsoft’s EDG Security (Edge + Platform, Devices and Gaming) takes care of some of Microsoft’s largest and most important online services including the Xbox LIVE, Microsoft Game Studios, and more. EDG Security High Value Assets (HVA) team looks after securing network, identity & isolation and manageability of high value infrastructure assets for Microsoft product groups such as Azure Edge, Operating Systems, Devices and Gaming. HVA team needs an experienced full stack Security Software Engineer to build tools and services for the EDG Security teams and its partners. We’re looking for great developers producing excellent software.

Responsibilities

• Will be involved in all phases of software development lifecycle right from understanding the Business requirements, Architecture, Design, Development, Testing and support it
• Write secure, reliable, scalable, reusable and maintainable code, and then effectively debug it, test it and support it from live to production
• Involved in providing on call support for the existing systems, on need basis
• Will work in various phases of on-premise service migrations to Azure Cloud
• Azure services such as Azure DevOps to be used for CI/CD, to update the status of the deliverables assigned and maintaining centralized code and documentation
• Will work on periodically bringing in both process and code automations
• Cross collaborate with teams to bring in reusability and design wholistic solutions

Qualifications

• 3 to 8 years of hands-on software design and coding experience.
• Significant hands-on experience on developing apps for Web;
• Experience building products with React, Angular, TypeScript etc.
• Hands-on experience on Relational Databases and writing SQLs
• Experience writing C#, Python and Java code
• Experience with agile project management methodologies 
• Experience with unit-test, continuous integration and test-driven development
• Ability to ramp up quickly on new technologies and adopt solution from within the company or from the Open-Source community 
• Experience in technically leading the team to solve complex engineering problems
• Bachelor’s in computer science, a related field, or equivalent experience.

Preferred:

• Having strong understanding of security concepts as well as robust problem-solving skills ranging from conceptualization to implementation is a plus.
• Technical expertise in C#, C++, or Java is a plus.
• Exposure to Azure resources is a plus
