Software engineer (Functional Analyst) is accountable for solution design, working with other Microsoft Digital team members, businesses partners, product groups, and IT teams to ensure that ERP solutions are delivered aligned to the technology roadmaps which support the business roadmaps and future business motions.

SAP Software engineer must quickly establish the trust and confidence of our business partners by developing:

• Deep understanding of System landscape & Business process knowledge
• Support the business lines by addressing the pain points and leveraging the opportunities to improve systems and processes
• Develop strong collaborative relationships with key Business users to deliver reliable, supportable business solutions
• Demonstrate ability to learn and adopt relevant new technologies, tools, methods and processes from Microsoft and industry.
• Provide problem-solving, technical innovation, and attention to detail.

The SAP Software engineer (Functional Analyst) must possess detailed working knowledge of Standard ERP and Best in Class for respective module and surrounding process areas. Independently drive for results and consistently meet deliverables on projects with aggressive timelines.  Work with a diverse team of Solution designer, Dev, Test and Support resources and consultants across multiple disciplines.

The Microsoft implementation of SAP is a large-scale enterprise solution featuring SAP ECC (FI/CO, SD and HR modules), SAP SCM (APO, SNP, EM, DP, EM), GTS, PS, BODS & BW This is an exciting opportunity for candidates that are motivated to grow their careers in SAP and Microsoft technologies. The individuals hired for the positions will implement SAP system solutions across various modules.

Responsibilities

Drive end-to-end delivery from gathering user requirements to delivering high quality programs and services to meet business needs.

• Engage with customers to clarify requirements, work through Agile experience, and create and communicate successful scenarios.
• Risk management, identifying business and IT trends, challenges & opportunities, interfacing with Enterprise Architecture teams, developing an in-depth understanding of assigned products and the associated technologies and ensure they are maintained and extended to the team throughout the product lifecycle.
• Build and leverage telemetry data to help drive prioritization decisions to deliver the best possible solution quickly.
• Partner with Solution Owners, Business stakeholders, Enterprise Architecture, Dev, Test, Service Engineering in analysing requirements, analysing impacts, proposing designs, fleshing these out to detailed designs, and finally driving the designs to completion through Feature Team.
• Virtual team leadership across PM, Dev and Test.
• Engage with business process units and work closely with upstream and downstream application owners to effectively build a ‘trusted advisor’ relationship with these teams through consistent on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Coordinate deliverables and dependencies with other groups to hit project milestones.
• Build cross-team coordination and a community with other engineers relating to challenges & opportunities in the areas of app-to-app and business-to-business integrations.

Qualifications

• Experienced consultant with excellent communication skills, who has at least 2 SAP SD/SCM/Order to Cash implementation cycles under their belt.
• Excellent configuration expertise in SAP in Order Management, Pricing & Rebates, Advanced Returns Management, Delivery & Logistic Execution, Billing & Invoicing and integrated flows across MM & FICO.
• Good knowledge of Integration between ECC and EM for logistics processes.
• 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain and/or Order to Cash business processes.
• 6 to 10 years of SAP configuration experience in SAP SD/MM/LE preferably in Supply Chain space.
• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree required with 6 to 10 years of experience in implementation/ roll out projects in SAP SD/MM/SCM for large Supply Chain customers.
• Sound knowledge of Supply Chain Management concepts.
• Ability to collaborate with other functional teams.
• Familiarity with formal Change Management and System Development Life Cycle processes.
• Experience working with Application Development teams to define and execute requirements.
• Ease of conducting Conference Room Pilots with business stakeholders.
• Experience in performing Gap Analysis (As-Is vs To-Be) to define new requirements.
• Expertise in baselining and configuring business scenario/requirements in SAP SD/SCM/MM/LE.
• Experience and readiness to work with middleware resources to implement SAP SD/SCM/LE interfaces pertaining to packaging, delivery from factory, receiving in warehouse, warehouse operations, exception processes and reporting.
• Adept at documenting Functional Specification, Technical Specification, Test Cases, creating high-impact Presentations and training the End User/ Super Users on business process knowledge of validated system solutions.
• Awareness of Agile delivery method vs traditional methods and experience of working in Agile would be a plus.
