Microsoft Outlook Desktop client is a pioneer and a leader in how the world works with email and calendaring. • Designing and developing intelligent Outlook productivity features and solutions   
• Architect and build the Outlook Desktop app  
• Make technology and design decisions to deliver a fast, secure and insanely usable app 

• Work with the server team to define needs and APIs that will provide the best user experience, and data team for telemetries 
• Create beautiful UI and intuitive UX that will delight usersCollaborate with customers and partners to understand user requirements and design features to enable rich search experiences.   
• Designing and writing maintainable, well-tested code, and the monitoring systems to ensure it functions well in production.  
• Investigate possible design directions and new technologies 
• Develop engineering plans including core design, unit test, and relevant telemetry 

• Monitor telemetry to continue to flight and validate the features in various audiences (Team, Division, Microsoft, Insiders, Production) 

Qualifications

• 5+ yrs of relevant experience in the high-tech industry as a Software Engineer.  
• Strong engineering fundamentals with a desire to learn more 
• A drive for technical excellence and quality 
• Strong customer focus with a passion for delivering delightful experiences 
• Excellent team-oriented collaboration and leadership skills 
• Experience owning and developing features end-to-end 
• Experience writing object-oriented code in C++  
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
