This position is for a key contributor who will be a part in designing and architecting the next generation of services for Adobe’s Experience Platform Identity Services - a foundational component & unique differentiator for Adobe Digital Experience. Identity Services builds Identity Graphs that links identities across devices and channels, to create a holistic consumer profile for marketing & analytics.
Identity Services processes billions of online events and CRM records each day to build its Identity Graphs. This is a once is a lifetime opportunity for engineers to solve exciting challenges of scale and build core services that are used by all Adobe Digital Experience solutions. As part of building these services, you will work with an exceptionally hardworking and collaborative team, tackle big data challenges using the latest technologies, design innovative algorithmic solutions and build highly scalable, low latency services.
Partner with multi-functional specialists (Product Management, Design, etc.) to craft, build and maintain the system / software for high availability and resiliency.
Ensures smooth operations by designing scalability and failure resistance into automation and monitoring of large-scale services.
Participate in application/framework/service design efforts, optimizing for quality, testability, maintainability, and scale.
Standardize methodologies, eloquent ideas, & market them across teams and organizations.
Collaborate closely with other engineers as a valued member of an autonomous, multi-functional team. Work in an environment that supports your individual growth and continuous learning.
Fast prototyping of ideas and concepts and researching the latest industry trends.
5 or more years of commercial software development and/or technical operations experience, and experience managing large-scale cloud-based applications through standard software engineering methodologies.
BS in Computer Science or equivalent
Well versed with distributed computing principles and experience building high scale, high performance cloud platforms and services
Proficiency in data modeling, data structures, algorithms
Problem-solving skills, ability to investigate to find the root of the problem.
Proven experience in regards of observability, i.e. monitoring, logging, tracing, etc.
Knowledge in large-scale distributed processing platforms such as Spark, Flink, Kafka, etc) a plus.
Experience using NoSQL datastores and data access patterns/strategies a plus
Committed to the highest levels of quality, demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness both in testing and code development.
Great teammate with a thirst to learn and take ownership in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communications skills (verbal and written) are essential to the role.
