We are the Azure Data team part of the C+E Azure organization. We build reliable, highly scalable, and highly performing distributed systems.

Azure Data Governance team is looking for UI developer to be part of a seeding team responsible to build a brand-new product offering in data privacy space. You should be comfortable around front-end coding languages, development frameworks and third-party libraries. You should also be a team player with a knack for visual design and utility. You will be using your expertise to work with great global UX Designers and engineers to deliver high quality, and performant GUI for our end users.

Responsibilities

We are looking for engineers who have a track record of success, who deliver results, and who (preferably) have a background in large scale data processing and visualization systems. You will collaborate on your designs across our partner engineering teams and work closely with our PMs to design, build, and maintain a growing set of features that will serve the needs of our customers

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering or Mathematics or IT technical discipline
• 8+ years of programming experience in developing User Interface.
• Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
• Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code
• Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
• Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
• Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
• Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs
• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
• Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
• Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
• A knack for benchmarking and optimization
• Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git

• Experience in Cloud environment
• Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience creating and shipping V1 products using modern development practices. 
• Experience using agile methodologies or test-driven development (TDD).
