The Role

In this role, you will be working with a team of technologists passionate about promoting testing practices, implementing test automation, and executing testing with development and business partners. You will be developing and maintaining automated suites of tests to assess product quality and release readiness, train squads on test management and collaborate with the team on improving test coverage and overall application health

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of relevant technical experience and experience in test automation
• Experience working in Agile teams
• Hands on experience with crafting and maintaining testing frameworks like Junit, Cucumber, selenium.
• Proven technical skills (e.g. SQL, XML, HTML, JavaScript, Java, Python)
• Experience in testing distributed applications at multiple layers of the technology stack
• Practical experience with test automation frameworks (Selenium or other tools)
• Proven knowledge of CI/CD principles is a plus
• Proven Quality Assurance knowledge & experience.

The Team

This position as an SDET engineer (QE resource) is to support automation testing for squads as part of the Security Service team working within the Workplace Investing Quality Engineering organization for creating automated testing frameworks using multiple technologies, testing UI, Web and API. The ideal candidate is a Quality focused professional with experience in all quality assurance aspects of application delivery in an agile environment across global locations.
