Software Engineer II

Job Description

This position will work as a part of a team, working in hybrid mode (couple of days in office) and is responsible for the design, development, integration, and support of applications built on Pega and/or JavaScript platforms.

Responsible for development lifecycle including requirements gathering, build, unit test, and deploy activities using standard CICD pipeline tools.

Candidate should have experience in software development using Pega technology and hands on experience on React/Angular JS.

Key Responsibilities

Develop features and integrations as required by the business. 

Work independently towards Pega COE proof of concepts and as part of an any Pega delivery teams.

Use Agile frameworks to ensure on-time delivery.

Maintain and drive requirements of two applications built on Angular and React JS.

Support operational team with application support issues.

Strong critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and presentation skills.

Experienced in using Jira and Splunk tool.

Qualifications:

Required:

Minimum 5 years of experience in software development.

Software Development experience in Pega PRPC and Java

Scripting experience in React JS and/or Angular JS

Integrating applications using REST API

Minimum 4 years of experience in Pega development – on Pega v7.4.x and/or v8.x

Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in any one of the JS technologies – React or Angular JS Preferred/Desired Skills:

BS/BA in Computer Science or equivalent.

More than 2 years of experience in React JS scripting.

Knowledge in Kafka, Kubernetes & Helm.

Java development, Jenkins’s usage & NewRelic usage.

Proficient in SQL queries & Splunk usage.

Experience with lean agile implementation.

Preferred/Desired Skills:

BS/BA in Computer Science or equivalent.

More than 2 years of experience in React JS scripting.

Knowledge in Kafka, Kubernetes & Helm.
