The Microsoft Finance Engineering is part of Commerce & Enterprise (C+E) team of Microsoft’s Cloud & AI ( C&AI ) Organization and is focused on building Technology solutions & services that enable the Microsoft Finance Enterprise Users across Procurement, Taxation, Treasury & Trade functions of Finance Business. The team is on a mission to build and deliver rock solid engineering systems using some of the innovative & modern technologies and processes. This requires deep technical and business expertise, customer insights, and a clear vision that comes from first-hand, large-scale experience with Microsoft and industry solutions. We are engineers, technology leaders and experts, digital transformation change agents, and customer advocates who are constantly looking to improve the E2E business Experiences.

Responsibilities

• Working hands-on with your team through design and implementation, demonstrating good engineering practices and coding along the way.
• Sharing your work and learnings with your team, Microsoft product teams, and the OSS community.
• Continuously improving our ability to deliver quality solutions by helping to evolve our engineering process.
• Driving code and design reviews and take them closure.
• Stay on top of industry trends, standards from security and scalability perspective to Lead and influence design decisions to build services right

Qualifications

Required Qualifications: 

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline or comparable practical professional experience. 
• At least 4+ years of professional experience in software development. 
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.  

 Preferred Qualifications: 

• Hands-on experience building production quality software (ideally cloud services) in an agile environment. 
• Inclusive, collaborative growth-mindset approach. 
• Demonstrated ability to quickly ramp up on new languages and technologies. 
• Experience in developing UI using client-side technologies, (React , Angular)
• Familiarity with Microsoft .NET technologies (C# and the .NET Framework) , Web API ,SQL Azure.
• Experience in one or more automation languages (PowerShell, Python, C#, Opensource)
• 2+ years in driving design & technical charter for the enterprise services
• Good at design patterns and their application.
