 As a Software Engineer in Microsoft C+AI – Finance Engineering team, you are expected to provide critical thinking and a high degree of technical innovation and attention to detail while serving as a trusted advisor to your project team.  You will need to balance many complex and competing technical priorities and be able to actively architect, design, develop, and test solutions.

We need a highly talented, experienced Software Engineer who is passionate about innovating next generation products and services, has great development skills, a passion for quality, passion to influence teams to do the right thing, and is excited to build incredible, engineering solutions with stellar user experiences.

Responsibilities

• As a Senior SWE you will responsible for all aspects of a feature area including design, implementation, performance and quality. You will take such feature areas from ideation to successful global roll out. You will act as a code and design reviewer and mentors other engineers. You must be self-driven, proactive, and results-oriented.
• Design, develop, test, and deliver high quality software that powers ever increasing demands of availability, reliability, security, and performance of core tools.
• Stay on top of industry trends, standards from security and scalability perspective to Lead and influence design decisions to build services right ground up.
• Be a part DevOps culture establishing top engineering processes/practices.
• Bring high positive energy that is motivating and infusing optimism.
• Be part of team that is inclusive in culture within and external to team.
• Build effective Partnership with partner teams like Program Management, business
• Driving code and design reviews and take them closure.
• Collaborate with multiple partner teams, analyze their requirements, prioritize, and drive features to closure with very high quality.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of experience - ASP.NET, MVC, or WCF/Web API, data store, ADF, synapse analytics, React/Angular
• 9+ years of experience in building on web technologies and frameworks (JavaScript/TypeScript/HTML/CSS/AngularJS/ReactJS)
• Strong software engineering skills – design, development, and testing experience.
• Good knowledge in C#, .NET Framework or comparable programming environment, SQL, database, Web Development, and test methodologies.
• Familiar with continuous integration, unit and functional testing practices, and continuous deployment systems.
• Familiar with DevOps practices including OnCall and Incident Management.
• Some experience in building systems to record and analyze telemetry
