Job Summary:

As a Software Engineer I in Customer Solutions Engineering at Disney DMED, you will help build and maintain the highest-scale web applications enjoyed by fans across the globe, and the systems that help create, curate, and deliver content to Disney, ESPN, and ABC products worldwide. You will work with modern web technologies including JavaScript, React, Node, Mobx, RESTful APIs, Java, HTML5, and CSS3 to deliver scalable, elegant solutions for new product features and core architecture.

Basic Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts, and advanced knowledge of at least one object-oriented language
• Experience with modern JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 frameworks; familiarity with React and Node.js preferred
• Demonstrated ability to learn relevant technologies
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Driven and self-motivated

Required Education

• BS Computer Science or related technical discipline or its equivalent.
