The Role

Are you interested in working to build applications which supports Prime Brokerage business? Our chapter comprises teams that work on a range of applications which supports prime brokerage business activities. We're looking for full stack Java, Spring boot and database developers who are passionate, inquisitive, and responsible individuals to help us in our mission to deliver the best experience to our customers, comprising of Hedge Fund clients and Fidelity prime business. You will be part of a team of skilled technologists. As a full stack developer and data analyst,

  • You will work to design applications, and processes which interact with other systems using APIs or Message Queues.  A
  • You’ll work on analyzing and designing data structures to support various applications, new features, taking these from concept to deployment, as part of our cross functional teams.
  • You'll have the opportunity to share ideas to improve our products as well as develop your skills, learn new technologies, and continue to learn.
  • We're looking for highly motivated individuals who work well in a collaborative, iterative, and fast-paced environment.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • 3+ years of hands on experience as a developer in Java, Spring Boot and Relational databases such as MS SQL Server and/or Oracle.
  • Strong programming skills in Core Java, Spring, HTML, Java script.
  • Strong data analysis skills, design, and coding experience in financial industry preferably in capital markets/prime brokerage.
  • Good RDBMS skills – SQL querying, writing stored procedures, triggers, functions, views, user privileges, object privileges, etc
  • Knows some Unix, has experience in Linux environment including basic unix commands.
  • Experience working with team in Agile methodology
  • AWS Cloud experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of Python is nice to have
  • Financial industry experience is a plus.
  • Understand glossaries and terminologies in financial industry
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with teams.
  • Good communication skill to both technology folks and business partners.
  • Quick learner, adaptable, has the right attitude to work across teams to find and deploy solutions.
  • Committed to timely and quality deliverables.
