Responsibilities

We are looking for data engineers with passion and knowledge to improve search and conversational AI technology. You will work closely with product managers, partner development teams to design, implement, and monitor data platform in a fast-paced agile development environment. You will work with a highly motivated team solving complex problems and have fundamental business impact and incredible opportunities to learn and grow. The scope of work includes:
1. Collaborate with partners in other country (speaking English) to design and build the data platform
2. Research, analyze, and investigate optimization opportunities on big data platform and improve efficiency of data capacity & resource management
3. Design and implement metrics, pipelines, dashboards from real world data to alert live site monitoring and serve debuggability
4. Develop, refine, and evaluate online and offline product metrics and tools for collecting reliable and unbiased data for experimentation, machine learning, data analytics

Qualifications

Successful candidate will have:

1. BS/MS in Computer Science, Software Engineer, Information System or Information Theory, or related fields

2. Excellent communication and collaboration skills

3. Quick learning and excellent system design, coding and problem-solving skills

4. Familiar with development and debugging in C#, C++ or Java, familiar with database, data processing system(e.g., Spark, HDInsight) and script languages(e.g., SCALA).

5. Experience with big data system, data analysis and online experimentation system is a plus
