Job Description

DESCRIPTION

Job summary
The EU Circular Economy (EU CE) team’s vision is to make Amazon the most environmentally and socially responsible place to buy or sell goods and services while continuing to spin the flywheel of cost, selection and speed for customers while “reducing the amount of materials needed and waste created by our products, services and operations”.

To do this, we must follow the fundamental principles of a Circular Economy by maximizing utilization of the materials and minimizing/eliminating waste from our products, packaging, operations and infrastructure at Amazon, all grounded in metrics that will quantify the circularity of our materials flows. EU CE team delivers solutions to support our business to reduce waste, promote product circularity and inform our customers to make sustainability purchase decisions. We drive with science and data, ensuring to evaluate trade-offs such as cost, timeliness and customer impacts.
