We are looking for Software Development Engineers to join the Prime Video Checkout Web Experience team.

The team owns the checkout experience for Amazon Prime Video across web, mobile, FireTV and Amazon Echo Show devices — in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide. Whether customers are looking to subscribe to Prime Video, Channels or simply purchase or rent a movie or TV show, they see and interact with our components and services.

We are seeking strong team players with interest in developing full-stack software components and building globally scalable solutions that delight our customers and make Prime Video the most loved streaming service on Earth!

Our technology choices are driven by the needs of our customers and enable us to deliver a delightful customer experience. At the moment, our tech stack happens to be a combination of JavaScript, Java, React, Node.js and Amazon Web Services.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
• Bachelor's degree in computer science related fields OR equivalent experience in software development

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

* Experience operating and maintaining production software
* Demonstrated best-practice software engineering including some aspects of agile methodologies, unit testing, refactoring, code reviews, continuous build and deployment processes
* Experience working with Amazon Web Services
