Private Bank Testing Centre of Excellence is looking for an experienced Software Development Engineer in Testwho can contribute to the automation and manual aspects of QA discipline and influence in a federated model (squad/ agile teams)

We are looking for a candidate who -

·With 2-5 years of relevant experience - Hands on in Test Automation frameworks using Open Source, commercial tools.

·Following experience/exposure on tools/technologies is desired -

·Test tools - Selenium, UFT, Appium (optional)

·Test Frameworks - BDD Cucumber, Page Object Model, Hybrid framework, Data Driven

·DevOps (optional) - Teamcity, Jenkins

·Test Management - Zephyr, JIRA

·Industry vertical - BFSI (Preferably Wealth Management)

·Adopt product oriented approach to define test coverage across product lines (cross-product work flows)

·Self motivated, techno functional teamplayer with positive approach

·Posseses forward outlook and comprehend the engineering ask for front-to-back automation (UI, API, Data) performance engineering for desktop, mobile in Devops setup.

·Can contribute towards quality culture and coach teams on agile processes and end to end JIRA implementations.

·Can keep oneself apprised to trends and innovations in the testing marketplace and an innate capability to apply them within the Citi context

On a typical day here is what you could do -

·design, develop, monitor automation coverage, and scale the existing automation framework to increase the automation coverage.

·Automation-as-a-Service on upper environments

·Contribute effectively towards the test strategy

·Hands-on to design test/business scenarios for cross-products to cover meaningful workflows based on the user journeys.

·For strategic products, participate in the product backlogs, retrospectives and pre-release daily connects, review test coverage

·Delivery reviews to monitor progress/gaps through JIRA dashboards and address impediments if any

·Strong drive to institutionalize the testing book of work(manual & automation) as part of product backlog

·Contribute towards Driving and promoting quality culture within and outside QA

Education:

·Educational requirements: BE/B. Tech

Language requirements (including proficiency levels for speaking, reading, and writing): English
