Global Mile's vision is to build Amazon's global logistics pipeline for any supplier to supply to any location in the world. IT offers intercontinental logistics services to selling partners to enable them to move their product from an origin country to Amazon fulfillment centers. Global Mile is also responsible for exports from fulfillment centers to other countries outside of the fulfillment network. It enables global expansion for the selling partners with the highest standard of quality, accountability, and transparency.

Global Mile team is building cross border logistics solutions which eliminate borders between buyers and sellers. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
• 1+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems.

• B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech degree in computer science or related fields, or equivalent experience, is required.
• 3-6 years professional experience in software development
• Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis
• Writing best quality code, following engineering best practices, doing effective code reviews and coaching the team to follow highest standards in developing solutions.
• Strong customer obsession and ownership to independently drive projects and deliver results.

Programming skills in , C++ or similar Object oriented analysis and design skills (OOA/OOD). Strong CS fundamentals (data structures, algorithms) BS/MS in Computer Science or in a related field Deep knowledge of distributed systems, asynchronous architectures.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in building micro services, distributed systems and architecture
• Experience building reliable, scalable, secured and complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to work with stake holders and partner teams
