Ad Server For Amazon is one of the largest buy-side advertising platforms. Ad Server For Amazon provides powerful, integrated solutions that enable data, creative, and media to work together for optimal campaign performance across the entire customer journey. Our AI-driven decision engine can identify robust insights within data across the five key dimensions of predictive marketing—campaigns, consumers, context, creative, and cost. Ad Server For Amazon operates its platform in more than 70 countries, with local offices in many countries providing award-winning service throughout the Americas, EMEA, and APAC, and connecting more than 20,000 advertisers and 3,600 agencies to audiences around the world.
We are responsible for end to end processing of impressions, views, clicks as well as video interaction events or rich media events in ads.
Our data is committed to getting things done, be the fastest, most high-fidelity data as it is both billable, critical to checking the heartbeat of a campaign and changes made to it during its lifecycle.
Within our systems we adhere to strict Media Ratings Council (MRC) standards. In this role you will support a brand new team dedicated to ensuring data quality and the highest standards possible for measurement.
You will be responsible for designing and implementing features, creating monitoring to visualise system stability, analysing data and ensuring we have rock solid mechanisms in place to prove data quality. There will also be scope to expand your stakeholder influence and deal with a wide variety of teams and potentially get involved as Scrum Master.
This role is ideally suited to an engineer who is interested in process, mechanisms, stakeholder management and likes to get involved in the end to end process, outside just the code and technical deliverables.
Key job responsibilities
Dive deep into MRC requirements, understand its unique requirements and work to build automations as well as improved processes and mechanisms.
You will be involved with architecture and design, have full use of AWS infrastructure and help to implement brand new measurement and processing systems.
A day in the life
A typical day will see you colaborate with your team and Scrum Master to deliver against a backlog you get to define and manage. It will be a varied role including design of measurement systems, dashboards, technical doc writing and of course a healthy dose of coding and solving tough engineering challenges.
About the team
You will join a brand new team focused on improving data quality and creating systems and mechanisms to ensure we meet high regulatory standards. As part of a new team you will have a high level of autonomy to shape the role and the ways of working.
The team is diverse and geographically distributed, based in Edinburgh, Israel, Poland and the US. We have established ways of working remotely and there are many opportunities to be onsite (particularly in Edinburgh) to collaborate and socialise.
