As a Software Developer Senior in our Personal Lines IT team, you’ll showcase your development skills and gain exposure to the various platforms and systems associated with the Progressive Special Lines Product. Working with our business partners on rate revision and compliance projects, you will have a direct impact on Progressive’s profitability and position in the marketplace. You’ll gain experience in our IT processes, and grow your career within Personal Lines IT. Must-have qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in an Information Technology discipline or related field of study and four years of work experience designing, programming, and supporting software programs or applications
• Instead of the above, a high school diploma or GED or higher, and:
  • The completion of a technical training program, and four years related work experience, or
  • Six years related work experience designing, programming, and supporting software programs and applications

Preferred skills

• Angular, C#, .NET 4.5, Angular, JavaScript, Web API, SQL Server, and MSTest
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently, as part of a team, and with business partners
• Advanced analytical, technical troubleshooting, diagnosing and problem-solving skills
• Effective verbal and written communication skills

Compensation

• $80,920-$104,720/year
• Gainshare bonus up to 30% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
