About the Role:

Are you a qualified Social Worker and passionate about working with people to promote independence and dedicated to making a difference? We would love to hear from you! We are looking for enthusiastic and dynamic qualified and registered social workers.

West Northamptonshire Council Adult Social Care is on an exciting innovation journey working with the Three Conversation approach, a model that re-emphasises focus on people, their strengths and the networks through the development of community and Inclusion hubs.

We are looking for Social Workers who believe it is important to ensure people have choice and control over their own support needs. We want people who are committed, like us, to focus on the person, their strengths and networks rather than routinely assessing people for services and eligibility. The three conversation model paving a new way of working in adult social care and we want social workers who are enthusiastic and passionate to work with us on this journey.

Post holders will work with adults with physical, sensory, cognitive impairments, and people with mental health problems who live in the Northampton, South Northamptonshire and Daventry area.

Basic Requirements:

- Have a social work qualification and be registered with Social Work England

- Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment

- Have the passion to promote peoples strengths and the ability to make a difference in a safe working approach to social work

practices

- Have up to date knowledge of legislation and demonstrable experience of delivering social care outcomes to people in need

- Have good communication and IT skills

- Abe to prioritise, using a risk based approach
