The Psychiatric University Clinic Zurich ensures the psychiatric and psychotherapeutic care of the residents in the city and in the greater Zurich area. The range of services includes the treatment of mental illnesses over the entire lifespan. As a university clinic, it is also involved in teaching and research and is very well connected internationally. 

The PUK Clinic for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Psychotherapy (KJPP) is responsible for child and adolescent psychiatric care throughout the canton of Zurich. In the newly designed range of treatments«LIFE»children and adolescents in suicidal crises are intensively treated and cared for by a multi-professional team. The offer includes integrative inpatient and semi-inpatient crisis intervention as well as outpatient intensive care and prevention.

Your tasks

• Support for the social integration and rehabilitation of the patients in close cooperation with the family and school-professional environment
• Participation in the interdisciplinary treatment team
• Advice and support in the search for external school and housing options
• Support and coordination of assistance in finding a job 
• Cooperation with the social services of other clinical departments and external bodies
• Reporting, documentation and service entry
• Participation in and participation in further education events

• Degree as social worker HF/FH
