Job Description
As a Global Social Media Specialist, your responsibilities will include:
- Engages online community members and proactively responds to brand related conversations
- First point of escalation and face of agency Social Media Management team
- Analyzes results of proactive efforts, providing insights and recommendations regularly
- Represents the community’s POV (fans, followers, etc.) in internal and external meetings
- Is familiar and comfortable with updating (non-programming related), navigating and utilizing each of the social channels, including understanding the terms of use/service for each
- Content Optimization: Aids in content repurposing and optimization for global social channels
- Community Management & Listening: Triages in-bound reactive on owned global channels, follows process for escalating to regional community managers.
- Reviews HR reputation management sites for any trends or areas of escalation
- Publishing and Syndication: publishes global content
- Ensures global content is shared with regions for regional use and local adaptation
- Helps ensure NewsCred and HootSuite is being leveraged
The Global Social Media Specialist position is well-suited for you if you:
- Have strong skills in social media communications in a B2B marketing context
- Excellent command of English
- Experience in a global organization a plus
- Good technical understanding and an ability to synthesize and simply complex technical concepts into engaging, accurate, impactful customer-friendly content
- Excited to bring forth great ideas for high-impact technical and communications initiatives
- Meticulous about detail
Qualified candidates will have:
- Entry Level / 2-3 years of experience/ Previous Community Management Experience
- B2B marketing experience a real plus
- Experience in food or food ingredient business a plus
- Good experience with the management of HootSuite or equivalent, and a good handle of a content operation platform like NewsCred.
