Dealer.com, a Cox Automotive Brand, is currently looking for a Social Media Coordinator to join our team.
The Social Media Coordinator manages a diverse client portfolio of dealerships throughout the United States and is the trusted expert for all content curation and presence across a variety of social media networks. This role demands refined research skills, strong writing competency, critical analysis of automotive industry trends, as well as an aptitude for strategic reporting to demonstrate performance and actionable items.
Your Role:
Develops day-to-day social media content that aligns with client monthly goals and campaign strategy to promote dealership objectives.
Composes unique, creative, compliant, and error-free social post copy that accurately conveys multiple dealership and OEM brand voice.
Utilizes the Sprout Social platform to post content for clients to optimize audience engagement and drive action across all major social media channels included but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Google My Business, etc.
Generates and delivers monthly client reports, including Monthly Business Review calls, to provide insight on social media campaign performance and opportunities.
Provides dealership clients with new insights and strategy in the ever-changing social landscape.
Research topics for relevant social content using online research techniques such as a Rich Site Summary (RSS) reader tools targeting specific automotive news, information, and trends.Monitors trends in social media tools, culture, and applications and appropriately apply knowledge to drive dealership client success.
Manages advertising spend for clients on applicable social media platforms to boost social content’s reach, engagement, and growth.
Surveils engagement (related discussion and interaction) on social media channels to recommend client response.
Proactively builds relationships with dealership clients and Dealer.com stakeholders to further on-going client success and product investments.
Assists clients with social media profile creation, optimization, troubleshooting and support.
Contributes thought leadership topics and tactics in team meetings, monthly newsletter distributed company-wide, and other applicable forums.
Utilizes graphic design tools to create custom assets for social content publishing.
Invests in ongoing skillset development through internally assigned and available third-party learning opportunities.
Participates in peer training and mentorship as needed.
Compensation:
Hourly pay rate is $17.07 – 23.93/hour. The hourly rate may vary outside of the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's experience.
Position is eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Highschool Diploma or GED
1-2 years of social media experience in a professional environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English)
Solid understanding of digital marketing and social media with motivation to research and gain knowledge of emerging trends and technologies
Previous client relationship and account management experience
Detail oriented and highly organized with ability to manage multiple client social presences concurrently
Enthusiastic self-starter
What We Look For (Preferred):
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field
Demonstrable experience executing social media content distribution for a business entity
HubSpot Social Media Marketing Certification
