Job summary
The Amazon Private Brands Organization is looking for an experienced and highly motivated marketeer to lead European Marketing Activities for Amazon’s newly launched sustainable Brand. Sustainability is one of the "Big 6" initiatives for Private Brands and this role is one of the key pillar’s in ensuring that we make progress against our biggest goals. The Senior Marketing Manager will be responsible for delivering a best in class on- and off-site branding and communication execution for our European customers. The role will work very closely with the global Sustainability team on planning, managing, launching and optimizing high quality marketing campaigns in line with the global timelines.
The right candidate for this role will have a passion for sustainability, will have experience leading high impact cross-channel digital marketing campaigns (including social media), will thrive working in complex matrixed organizations, and will enjoy working in environments where teamwork across functional and geographic boundaries is critical. They will have a high degree of ownership and integrity, be an independent self-starter with strong entrepreneurial drive, and be someone who thrives in connecting people and ideas. They will be strong communicators and be comfortable with playing a lead role in a highly visible organization, communicating at VP/Director level. You will understand operations and have a passion for efficiency and continuous improvement. You will also know how to pivot back and forth between thinking strategically about our brands and driving fast implementation to deliver results.
Key job responsibilities
• Starting from Customer Insights to work backward to the best localization of our WW Sustainable promise
• Leading strategic regional insights for marketing channels on sustainability
• Managing high impact seasonal brand campaigns across the EU for the Sustainable brand - create and maintain mechanisms and distribute project information to stakeholders.
• Adapting and implement global marketing channel strategy
• Managing marketing budget and channel mix and own goals on reach, awareness, customer acquisition and efficiency
• Liaising with Central teams owning detail page experience to oversee roll out of detail page experience improvements (E.g. widgets, CPF specific features etc.)
• Owning cross-functional relationships and strategy for offsite PR, social, Global Discovery and media buying teams
• Working closely adjacent PB Marketing Teams to keep PBs aware and updated on brand developments, drive efficiencies and scale across marketing processes and feed regional PB considerations into global strategy
• Implementing scalable working processes for new DGB Marketing function
• Identifying, assessing, tracking and resolving issues/risks to EU implementation of Global strategy in EU
• Line manager for a Marketing Manager
• 8+ years of experience in digital marketing, brand management or product management
• Experience in managing off site media channels, including influencers, social (IG, FB, TikTok) and paid media
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate projects across functional teams, including product management, marketing, creative, legal and merchandising teams.
• Ability to influence internal and external teams at senior levels
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
• Strong analytic and quantitative skills - ability to use data to develop and measure marketing programs as well as ability to direct and iterate creative output in line with brand guidelines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of and passion for sustainability
• Master of Business Administration
• Fluency in a key language: Spanish, Italian, German or French
