About the Team:

 

The SMB Marketing team is responsible for delivering the overall P&L performance (financial and physicals) through defining and delivering our marketing plans across Small, Medium and Partner categories. At the heart of the wider SMB team, we create plans that deliver brave, creative customer led propositions and messaging based on strong insight and understanding.

 

About the Role:

 

The Marketing Manager (Small Business) is a key role responsible for defining and executing our monthly, quarterly and annual Small Business marketing plans. Utilising available products across Handset, Simo, MBB other value-added services you’ll be creating compelling, customer-led propositions and messaging to encourage Small Businesses to choose O2 and buy more from us. You’ll work closely with several teams across SMB Marketing, Sales and Finance to ensure our plans are continually reviewed and optimised to ensure we achieve our targets.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Identify key opportunities in the market to convince more customers to choose O2 and grow our share of the Small Business market
  • Use customer insight and data to create compelling and relevant propositions and comms for different audiences in the Small Business market
  • Develop Small Business marketing plans, working closely with the Pricing team, to drive demand and value across new and existing customers throughout key trading periods across the year
  • Create clear briefs into Marcomms and Channels to drive excellent execution of our marketing plans
  • Understand and own the KPIs, working closely with the Performance team and Sales, to identify opportunities to make tactical trading changes to improve performance
  • Working closely with Vendor Management team and device vendors (e.g. Apple, Samsung) to identify joint opportunities

 

What We Need from You:

 

  • Experience in a commercial Marketing role
  • Strong commerciality and results driven
  • Understanding of key trading levers
  • Ability to clearly communicate plans
  • Drive and determination
  • Ability to deliver and execute in complex environments
  • Strong influencing, collaboration and team-working skills, willing to challenge others to get results
