Qualifications for Smart Ag Design Engineers

  • Proven track record displaying extreme ownership in project success

  • In-depth understanding of agricultural systems and processes, and a desire to be hands-on with the development of new products
  • Demonstrated ability to be a thought leader in your field of expertise
  • Display curiosity in providing market-leading solutions
  • Ability to accept failure as a part of innovation and rapidly transition to the next idea
  • Desire to work effectively within a small, high-performing team
  • Capability to provide insight on the optimization of design processes to streamline workflows
  • Proven ability to communicate clearly and openly
  • Attitude and Drive
    • Solid decision-making skills, and the ability to make decisions with limited direction
    • A desire to participate in a fast-paced, dynamic development environment
    • A desire to provide innovative ideas and concepts in an expanding field of technology
    • Be able to travel 20% and be in the field during the major application seasons

 

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or other relevant technical degrees.
  • One or more years of experience with the development of solutions for agricultural systems
