P&G Beauty - Packaging Modeling & Simulation Leader

Leads our Beauty – Hair, Skin and Personal Care Packaging Modeling & Simulation (M&S) program, ultimately delivering faster, more fit-for-use package designs, solutions to package functionality, stability, compatibility or manufacturing feasibility issues, and helping to obsolete time-consuming physical tests via predictive models.

Leverages personal M&S mastery and capacity as well as external suppliers to influence complex new 3D package design directions, improve the structural integrity of existing designs, and troubleshoot package functionality and plant packing line integration issues.

Proactively drives the Beauty M&S culture to the next level - helping make M&S a more integrated part of our package design/innovation process, and build the correlations to physical FFU methods required to reduce the redundancy/reliance of them.

Has broad project responsibilities to co-create and influence the strategic direction of the packaging design work to be done. Initiates, leads, and still performs hands-on technology/capability/method development in order to deliver key technical initiatives, and can direct the Packaging technical work of others and lead cross-Job teams as needed.

Qualifications

• We are looking for someone with a Bachelor of Science Degree (or higher) in Engineering, especially Mechanical Engineers
• The ideal candidate would also have university or industry experience in Modeling & Simulation and in understanding structural integrity analysis (FEA), R&I and Digital innovation tools. Experience modeling packaging components and visco-elastic materials is a plus. Proficiency with Abacus, Model First/Enovia, and PowerBI strongly preferred.
