What you’ll be doing:

• Carrying out a range of advanced construction tasks e.g. Excavating, Kerb laying, Paving, Drainage, Concrete laying, Tarmac work and block paving
• Use and interpret construction drawings and utility providers plans.
• Have an understanding of setting out and the ability to work to line and level
• To be responsible for the locating and exposing underground services in line with Capita Safe System of Work.
• To provide advice, guidance and instructions to other staff as allocated e.g. Apprentice's, Laborers  and ensure all work is carried out as instructed
• Experience in using a variety of small plant and tools (Sthll Saw, Pneumatic Breaker, Whacker Plate etc)
• Undertake daily checks and record findings of all plant used
• Adhere to agreed performance levels
• Liaise with Site Manager in order to effectively manage materials and material delivery's
• To adhere to Heath and Safety standards and codes of practice

What we’re looking for:

• You’ll hold a full UK driving license
• CSC Car holder
• NRASW
• Experience working in a similar role post qualification

Desirable:

• NPORS or equivalent up to 10t 360 Excavator
• NVQ level 2 in General Construction
• Npors or equivalent up to 10t Dumper
• Npors or equivalent up to 10t Roller
• First Aid Trained
• Manual Handling
• CAT and Genny
• Confined Space
