Join Apple, and help us leave the world better than we found it!We have an exciting opportunity in the AppleCare Product Engineering and Quality team for a results-oriented & highly motivated person to join us and help drive quality management initiatives and performance at the new Mac Repair Centre (RC) located at our UK Distribution Centre, near Lutterworth.You will own and manage service quality at our Mac repair depot in UK, supporting Retail stores, service providers and customers from all over Britain. You will have responsibility for developing and implementing procedures for the diagnostics and repair of all our Mac portable products, and achieving world class quality standards.You will collaborate closely with teams (AppleCare & vendor) on a cross-functional basis to review KPIs, find opportunities, develop and implement solutions. Therefore in addition to having the technical expertise you will need excellent interpersonal, communication, organisational and leadership skills to succeed in this role.You will establish and review KPIs with the site team on a daily, weekly and monthly basis to drive performance and find opportunities for improvement that enable successful achievement of program objectives.

  • Previous experience troubleshooting and solving complex problems
  • Ability to work independently, as part of a global cross-functional team, is important
  • Comfortable asking questions, with a strong sense of initiative and follow-through
  • Strong sense of ownership and resourcefulness
  • Excellent analytical skills, especially the ability to identify and understand trends and correlations

Description

- Role will be based full time at the UK Repair Centre.- Occasional business travel will be required. - Passion for providing an excellent customer experience.- Distill subject matter expert feedback into simple, concise instructions.- Suggest ways to improve reporting with formatting and data visualisation techniques.- Give constructive feedback to your peers and review your own work with others.- Collaborate openly and effectively with a range of Partners.- Facilitate the development of continuous improvement proposals through measurement and analysis of current activities.- Ability to balance multiple projects on tight timelines.
