The Opportunity

• Impactful opportunity as senior software development engineer working on the Adobe Experience Cloud, Adobe Analytics
• Modernize our operational toolkit developed in Python
• Automate systems engineering and operational tasks using Python and Open Source technologies
• Mentor junior engineering staff

What you\'ll Do

• You will develop core modules in Python as part of the Adobe Analytics operations toolkit
• You will collaborate with other engineers to understand proprietary software process, integrations, and to recommend the best solution for any given challenge
• You will participate in an on-call rotation to ensure uninterrupted delivery of Adobe Analytics
• Manage all aspects of large scale Linux system deployment. OS Lifecycle, Data Center, Packages, and Patching

What you need to succeed

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and programming patterns
• 3+ years professional experience with the Python programming language in an enterprise environment
• 3+ years professional experience with the Linux operating system in a data center or public cloud environment
• Understanding of APIs and how to consume them
• Familiarity with Node.JS, ReactJS, and JavaScript
• Ability to identify and resolve problems associated with production workflows
• Excellent communication skills (work with multiple teams across organization)
• Willingness to participate in occasional on-call rotation.
