What you\'ll do

  • Be a key member of our SRE team, building the infrastructure and systems that enable teams of developers to ship product to millions of users worldwide.

  • Help steward a best-in-class infrastructure powering some of the world\'s most important web apps.

  • Increase developer efficiency by empowering developers to quickly debug builds and deployments through dashboards and the CI/CD system.

  • Strive to build an inclusive team supporting diverse opinions.

  • Work closely with other developers to understand their workflows and needs, and adapt or pivot quickly based on their feedback.

What you need to succeed

  • Bachelor\'s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.

  • A minimum of five years working as a Site Reliability Engineer.

  • A minimum of two years software development experience.

  • Kubernetes, Monitoring/Performance, Infrastructure, and DevOps Experience (New Relic, Splunk, Prometheus, AWS/Azure, CloudWatch, Cortex, Pager Duty, Terraform, Jenkins or similar, GitOps etc.).

  • Strong Linux, Bash, Automation, and scripting skills.

  • Cares deeply about Observability, Resiliency, Scalability, and Reliability.

  • Web and Node.js development experience - JavaScript/HTML/CSS, experience with ES6, and React / similar UI frameworks.

  • Ability to tackle problems in a sustainable way, always striving to improve process and learn.

  • Proven results-oriented person - especially in the areas of writing high-performance, reliable and maintainable code.

  • Works well in a distributed team environment across multiple geographies; can develop strong working relationships and promote a positive, collaborative tone.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; can effectively articulate complex ideas and influence others through well-reasoned explanations.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Bazel experience

  • Strong familiarity with and understanding of design and design tools. Experience developing design tools.

  • Experience developing for multiple devices and platforms.

  • Experience with Agile development processes.

  • A good sense of humor is a big plus!
