Job Description
ENGIE are recruiting for a Site Manager to be based in Hebburn, Tyne and Wear. This is a permanent full time position. On offer is a competitive salary, company vehicle allowance, bonus and benefits package.
What will you deliver?
- To assist the Contracts Manager with pre-start details
- To report to the Project / Contracts Manager on the progress against the programme
- To ensure full compliance with all Health & Safety aspects
- Liaison with the client, consultants, contract administrator, head office etc.
- To be responsible for the opening and closing of the site facilities
- Management of site facilitie
- Co-ordinate the Sub-Contractors as appropriate
- Preparation / assistance with the site progress reports]
- Safe storage and co-ordination of materials

Who are we looking for?
Skills and Abilities
- Ability to fully operate Microsoft Project
- Excellent organisational skills
- Financial and commercial awareness
- Effectively manage time in order to meet deadlines
- Professional attitude and approach to work
- Ability to competently operate MS office (Word & Excel)
- Current and Valid UK driving license
Experience
- Previous site management experience
- Up to date relevant knowledge of building legislation
- Up to date relevant knowledge of Health and Safety legislation
- Understanding of local government construction projects
- Experience of Partnership arrangements
