The position:
Wilhelmsen Ships Service is looking for a Ships Agency Administrator to join our Ships Agency division in Gibraltar.
In Ships Agency, we provide our customers with piece of mind while we handle their cargo, their vessels and their crew. We handle 75,000 port calls per year, which means that every 7 minutes, anywhere around the world, we send a ship safely out to sea again to fulfil its purpose. We match local expertise with strict global standards, making sure we consistently make our customers’ port calls as efficient and safe as possible.

About the location / department
The position will be located at Unit 1, Candytuft House, Waterport Terraces which is situated at the entrance to the Port of Gibraltar.
The Ships Agency Administrator will report to the Ships Agency Operations Manager.
Who you are:
Preferably you have a basic understanding of the Shipping Industry and familiar with port regulations and procedures, but if not, we will consider those with the right attitude and desire. You will need to possess a strong Health and Safety focus with a desire to get the job done, and get it done right. The ability to work independently is critical, however always remembering you are a part of a team working to be successful together. The ability to work under pressure, to be a problem solver, and a solution provider are important traits to be successful in the role. Reliability, trustworthiness, multitasking, thoroughness, and determination are all characteristics that you also need to possess.
