To drive these strong relationships with our customers as we grow, Amazon Shipping is looking for a Shipper Operations Senior Program Manager. Operating in a highly ambiguous space, the successful candidate will work closely with the Commercial Team to understand the specific requirements of our Shippers and work with a variety of individuals and teams to drive resolutions at scale. They will also be required to proactively review and evaluate both quantitative and qualitative Shipper level metrics to identify trends or painpoints and ensuring these are addressed. Operational experience and understanding is a must to enable to candidate to not only speak with authority about service capabilities and the Amazon operation, but identify opportunities to support our shippers with specific needs.
Responsibilities include:
• Lead Strategic Shipper monthly business reviews for Amazon Shipping Operations, acting as single point of contact for the senior operational relationship for Strategic Shippers.
• Support demand generation process (tender contribution, relationship building, sales negotiations etc).
• Launch a Shipper Tour format for prospective and existing customers.
• Run a monthly Shipper Operations review where Strategic shippers are evaluated on a balanced scorecard and any identified misses are tracked and managed to resolution.
• Partner with Commercial account management to drive cost reduction and volume opportunities through using exiting profitability evaluator tools.
• Produce insight on industry trends.
· Completed Bachelor's Degree or higher
· Experience in Supply Chain or Program/Project Management
· Proficiency of Microsoft Office
· Experience analyzing customer and operational related data and draw conclusions leading to improvement initiative recommendations
· Experience coordinating and interacting with cross-functional teams
· Operational experience/mindset
· Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Business, Supply Chain or related field.
· Experience of working within logistics, transportation or parcel environment is highly preferred.
· Excellent planning, organizational and time management skills.
· Proven ability to influence change with senior management and across various departments.
· Strong track record of cross organizational relationship building.
