Here at Roadchef on Clacket Lane, we are looking to hire full time Trainee Shift Managers, with previous management or supervisory experience who are fully flexible.

Being a Trainee Shift Manager means you are the face of our McDonald's unit and will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service at all times. We will provide you with full on-job training and support to carry out the role effectively.

In return, you will be paid an hourly rate of £11.50 plus benifits.

Position Requirements

Your responsibilities as a Trainee Shift Manager will include:

• Serving customers in a timely manner and providing excellent customer service whilst both on the till and working on the restaurant floor

• Training and developing crew members to their highest potential

• Supporting your team and Business Manager to deliver outstanding service, products and cleanliness

• Ensuring food safety and health and safety standards are adhered to at all times

• Driving your own personal development within the business

Position Attributes

Friendly, courteous and helpful behaviour will come naturally to you and you’ll work well as part of a team. Effective communication skills such as attentive listening, face-to-face verbal communication and eye contact are a must. You’ll also need to understand the importance of maintaining high standards of quality and service as well as cleanliness. The ability to maintain high energy levels whilst working both efficiently and productively is essential. Finally, your appearance should be smart and clean.
