Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Architectural support of the Service Management product/tool suite by providing end to end product architecture to ensure the detailed design and development remains consistent.
- You identify issues between the strategic architecture and vendor solution implementation and come up with solutions to implement and migrate strategies that reduce risk for the platform and organization
- You will advise and guide in Technical knowledge, methodology and framework, data integration and data flows, Enterprise Architecture, and software development and coding
- You will document reference architectures, design patterns and provide a GAP Technical Evaluation of requested functionality and OOB (out of the box) functionality
- Evaluate new features and new capabilities to align to organizational and transformation needs
Essentials Skills and Qualifications
- Higher degree (bachelor) in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
- At least 8 years of professional service management experience including at least 5 years of being a Subject Matter Expert in ServiceNow
- Proven experience in expertise and solution architecture experience within the Security Operations and/or GRC modules of the platform (at least 1-2 projects)
- Knowledge and understanding of software architecture principles as they apply to solution and application architectures, specifically for portals, web sites and systems integration projects
- Thorough understanding of ITIL and common IT Service Management processes
- Relevant certifications such as System Administrator, implementation specialist and application developer in addition to general experience in ServiceNow
- Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English are required. German is a plus
- Positive attitude, flexibility, curiosity and interest in working in a fast-paced environment with focus on improvement
- Ability to empathize, quickly gain trust and build up effective relationships with IT vendors and colleagues at different seniority levels
Desired Skills and Qualifications
- Strong understanding of CMDB/CSDM data model in ServiceNow
