The ServiceNow Developer (Application Development Advisor) portal developer will play a key role in maturing Cigna’s enterprise-wide IT service portal.  This individual will work in a team environment with analysts and developers to deliver modifications of catalog items as well as contributing to more strategic solutions in the portal in collaboration with the Portal Architect.  The individual will partner with IT support teams and other process owners to deliver on commitments to support our colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and document business and technical requirements to deliver new and enhanced deliverables to support our colleagues.
• Develop new and update existing catalog items viewable through an enterprise-wide employee service portal.
• Improve colleague experience by partnering with ITSM process owners and IT support partners.
• Lead design discussions that contribute to the team’s portal evolution with the Portal Architect and leadership.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Complete understanding and hands-on experience developing ServiceNow catalog items including workflow manipulation.  Service Portal experience is a plus. 
• Ability to partner with technical and non-technical personnel to establish proper requirements.
• Troubleshooting and customer service experience are highly desired.
• Ability to document, maintain and update procedures that allow understanding for technical and non-technical personnel.
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Good understanding of agile software development methodologies.

This role is WAH/Flex which allows most work to be performed at home. Employees must be fully vaccinated if they choose to come onsite. 

This position is not eligible to be performed in Colorado.
