We are looking for our next amazing team member who will be responsible for the enabling processes supporting the LEGO Physical Stores Operations Product Team.
With the objective of simplifying interactions with finance, procurement, and vendors on its behalf.
This role is pivotal as it ultimately enables the product team to focus on supporting our stores during a time where the LEGO Group is expanding rapidly!
The responsibilities for this role sit within two key areas:
Support to the Physical Stores Digital Product Team
• Lead all finance tasks within the Physical Stores Digital Product Team. Ensuring that tasks such as: purchase order raising (annual and ad-hoc), goods receipting, and invoicing are all performed in a timely and customer-focused manner.
• Lead the ordering of both PoS (Point of Sale) and network equipment and work closely with the product team to ensure that equipment is available in time before being deployed into a store
• In time, closely manage the new vendor (RFP currently in progress) that will support LEGO Brand Retail store operations.
Support to all other Product Teams within Marketing and Channels Technology (MCT) at LEGO (30+ teams)
• Providing support to the existing Technical Operations Specialist within MCT to cover for all vendor management, finance, and procurement related activities to the wider department.
• Tracking and reporting on all vendor performance across the department.
• Identify vendor services optimization opportunities (e.g., free credits; free learning; discounts etc.) and drive actions to use these opportunities.
• Supporting the development and accuracy of the Total Cost of Ownership of each product team within MCT.
• Run various operational tasks ad-hoc / as required.
Do you have what it takes?
• Proven track record in either financial and / or vendor management processes
• Experience / understanding of network environments, equipment, and software
• Experience in building relationships with vendors and managing ongoing SLA’s
• Experience in working with agile product teams
• Adaptable communication skills with a broad set of partners both internally and externally.
• Experience within Project Management
• Skills in data analysis and reporting (skills in MS Excel are essential and Power BI are desirable)
• Takes initiatives and is able to work independently.
• Empathetic, shows care towards team members and the pressures they may be facing
• Likes to support others and help in achieving their goals
• Structured and takes ownership for driving things forward
• Ability to present information in an easily digestible and practical way.
