Job Description

The Service Architect will provide resources to manage consultancy services relating to Service Architecture and Service Management. To support the bid process, design and transition of ITUC services to meet Customer and UC business requirements. This requirement is in light of the potential Service Redesign activity needed to support UC transition into a separate legal entity.

Working within the UC Service Organisation closely with the Operational Management and Bid Teams to provide service design support for various external & internal deals, this includes:

  • Take a lead role in the design of IT services demonstrating a high level of understanding with respect to customer drivers, customer requirements, contractual agreements, service architecture and service management.
  • Attend customer dialogue sessions with the Bid Team to present & demonstrate the service, delivery and operations areas.
  • Translating customer requirements and contractual obligations into a Service Design that describes the scope of services, delivery model(s), people, processes, Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and supporting Operational Level Agreements (OLAs) to provide the basis for transition into Business-As-Usual (BAU).
  • Production of a Service Model to support Operational teams in the delivery of IT services.
  • Work closely with Project Management to lead on service elements of delivery to enable the operations transition team to transition the service into live production.
  • Work with the Service Operational Staff to drive business change into the existing customer legacy service models to ensure continuous improvement and maximising Customer Excellence and efficiency within the annuity customer install base.
  • Designing solution roadmaps, and system and software architecture according to business strategies and (SA) standards/processes. Analysing client requirements and determining appropriate solutions to these requirements based on business needs. Resolving routine to moderately complex problems and issues in (SA); assessing any potential risks and determining solutions to these risks. Working with other (SA) staff, technology experts and business stakeholders to provide functional support to clients on solution architecture updates.
