This is a fixed term contract due to end when the previous employee returns from maternity leave. At this point we cannot confirm exactly how long this contract will last, but it is unlikely to be more than 12 months.

You'll work with the Experience & Visitor Programming Manager to ensure every aspect of the visitor experience is shaped by our special places and delivers an exceptional experience to everyone every time. That involves delivering the program of events, with something new each season for our regular visitors and locals, as well as ongoing events to inspire our occasional visitors.
With our inspiring landscapes with centuries of history and our ongoing conservation work, there’s everything here to fire your imagination, to create events and deliver outstanding interpretation. You’ll work with the North Devon portfolio team to understand our spirit of place, ensuring high standards of presentation, including signage, and service as part of the visitor experience team. You’ll also have the opportunity to contribute to project work across the portfolio.
This role will have a key role in the following areas:
Marketing
Working with our Visitor Experience Assistant lead on marketing, from press releases to print media.
Partnerships
Work with partners such as outdoor providers at Baggy Point and running organisations to facilitate great experiences for people at the places we look after.
Programming
Lead on programming, such as delivering outdoor cinema at Baggy Point, children’s trails, and engagement activities at local festivals.
Presentation
Be the lead for presentation standards, including access, signage and interpretation, across our places.
